Dura Chery Plum is a Sapa seedling from Morden (1942). Low spreading shrub with heavy annual crops. Fruit about 3.5 cm (1.5"), dull green blotched purple, red flesh. Ripens late August and often hangs into October. Excellent for canning; good all purpose processing. Needs a compatible chum or Japanese plum for pollination.
