Wild bergamot is a perennial wildflower in the mint family, native to Canada and the United States. It is also called bee balm and is known for aromatic leaves that can be used for tea.
Plants form clumps with pink to lavender flowers in mid to late summer. It attracts bees and hummingbirds and can reach about three feet tall.
