Lemon Bergamot (Monarda citriodora), also called Lemon Beebalm, is a North American wildflower in the mint family. Plants grow 2 to 3 ft tall, with aromatic leaves, square stems, and tiered clusters of lavender pink flowers.
The lemon scented leaves can be used for tea and to flavour food. The flowers attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, and plants can sow themselves where seed is allowed to mature.
