Sugar Maple (Acer saccharum) - Zone 3/4 - 30+ Seeds

Longe lived native maple tree, best known as the primary source of maple syrup, its sap is collected in spring and boiled down for sugar and syrup. Native to eastern North America. Grows 60 to 100 feet tall with a broad rounded crown. Leaves are five lobed and turn brilliant shades of orange, red, and yellow in fall. Shade tolerant when young but needs full sun for best growth later on.
