Thornless Sea Buckthorn Seeds

Thornless Sea Buckthorn seed was collected from trees that were almost free of thorns and carried large crops of fruit. Seedlings will vary, but may retain the reduced thorniness that makes harvest easier.

Seedlings should include male and female plants in roughly equal numbers. Male plants are needed to pollinate the fruiting females. Sea buckthorn fixes nitrogen, forms dense wildlife habitat, and produces tart fruit used for juice and preserves.
