Tahsis Black Currant (Ribes nigrum 'Bieloruskaya Sladkaya' x Titania)

Canadian cultivar bred in British Columbia from a cross of Bieloruskaya Sladkaya and Titania. Shrubs are medium sized and productive with good disease resistance. Clusters of medium to large black currants ripen in mid season with a strong tart flavor suited for juice, preserves, and wine. Plants are hardy and reliable in cool climates with consistent yields year to year.
