ES 3-22-36 Purple Grape

ES 3-22-36 is an unreleased Elmer Swenson grape known only by its early 1990s trial row number. It produces early ripening, purple, nearly seedless fruit with excellent flavour, and its foliage turns red in fall.

The nursery stock comes from mature Manitoba vines. The cultivar can grow in Zone 3 with winter protection, but Zone 4 is the more conservative hardiness rating.
