Manor is a seedling of Sapa introduced in 1945 by the Morden Experimental Station in Manitoba. It belongs to the Canadian cherry plum line descended from N. E. Hansen's Sapa.

The productive early bearing tree has small fruit with dark purple skin and tender juicy purplish red flesh that is nearly freestone. The fruit is good fresh and reliable for jam and canning. Manor needs a compatible cherry plum or Japanese plum for pollination. Our plants are own rooted.
