Eagle Black Currant

Eagle is a Canadian black currant raised by William Saunders from Naples before 1887. A current grower describes productive bushes and strongly flavoured, tart berries suitable for jam or for eating fresh when the flavour is preferred.

Its flavour is more assertive than Tenah in that grower’s experience.

Site: Rich, well drained soil; full sun to partial shade.
