Slitsa is a high yielding black currant developed in Sweden. It bears heavy clusters of medium deep black berries with robust tangy flavour from mid into late summer.

The fruit is suited to fresh eating, juice, jam, jelly, and baking. The vigorous upright plants are described as resistant to powdery mildew and leaf spot.
