Shiro Plum

Shiro bears round yellow plums with translucent yellow flesh, abundant juice and a mild, sweet flavour. It is an early dessert plum introduced by Luther Burbank in 1899. Shiro is partially self fertile, but another compatible plum can improve fruit set. It is rated for Zone 6 and is trial material in colder regions.
