Nova Easygro Apple Tree

Nova Easygro was developed at AAFC Kentville Research and Development Station in Nova Scotia and introduced in 1971. It is a Spartan x PRI 565 apple with large oblate fruit, a greenish yellow ground mostly covered by red stripe or blush, thin skin and snow white firm crisp slightly juicy flesh. The mildly sweet fruit can be slightly tough at picking and mellows in storage. It is recommended for cooking, salads and fresh eating, and for low maintenance backyard trees or organic orchards.
