Misty Rose Apple Tree

Misty Rose is a University of Saskatchewan apple with crisp, firm, juicy white flesh and a sweet flavour. The breeder describes fruit about 2½–3 inches across, usually heavily washed with red over a light green background, and suitable for fresh eating and storage.

It ripened around September 4 in Saskatoon in the breeder’s observations. Fruit tends to drop readily once ripe, so timely picking matters. The tree has vigorous, open growth and bears at shoot tips; pruning should retain suitable fruiting tips.

Our fall trees are grafted on Siberian crabapple rootstock.

Fruit Colour: Approximately 90% red wash over light green in typical fruit; white flesh

Pollination: Provide another compatible apple or flowering crabapple with overlapping bloom.
