Indigo Treat Haskap (Lonicera caerulea 'Indigo Treat'

Indigo Treat is part of the U of S Indigo series and is more compact and upright than Indigo Gem. The fruit is smaller and firmer with a more intense sweet and tart flavor.

Plants are cold hardy and can handle partial shade, though full sun gives the best growth and fruit production. It is not self fertile and needs another haskap that blooms at the same time. Strong partners include Berry Blue or Honey Bee.
