Indigo Gem is part of the University of Saskatchewan Indigo series and was selected for early ripening, cold hardiness, and strong yields. The low spreading shrub produces medium oval berries with sweet tart flavour.
Indigo Gem is not self fertile and needs another haskap with overlapping bloom.
