Ben Nevis is a Scottish black currant that produces heavy crops of large flavourful berries from the middle to late part of July. The vigorous upright shrubs are taller than compact cultivars such as Ben Sarek.
Ben Nevis is self fertile and does not require another black currant for fruit. It is also noted for resistance to powdery mildew.
