Bebb's Willow (Salix bebbiana) is a native shrub or small tree of northern North America. Catkins open before the leaves in early spring. Mature plants have grey green bark, narrow leaves with pale undersides, and often develop distinctive galls on the branches.
Bebb's Willow grows wild around the nursery. It tolerates wet sites but also succeeds in dry sandy soil. It is larger than Sandbar Willow and is useful for reclamation and wildlife cover.
