White Willow

White willow is a large fast growing tree, excellent for sites with wet heavy soil. It has distinctive bright yellow branches that add some winter color. The trees have typical willow shaped long narrow leaves with pale undersides.   These are some of the largest trees that grow in Manitoba right up there with cottonwoods, we've found specimens with trunks 3 ft wide.

Our white willow trees were started from hardwood cuttings.
