Northern Spy Apple Tree

Northern Spy is an 1800s New York heirloom apple. It bears large round conical fruit with green yellow skin striped red and very firm, fine grained, juicy flesh with a rich sugar and acid balance. It ripens late in October, keeps well through winter, is slow to bear on standard roots, and is susceptible to fire blight and scab.
