Tahsis is a Canadian black currant cultivar bred in British Columbia from a cross of Bieloruskaya Sladkaya and Titania. The shrubs are medium in size and productive, show good disease resistance, and produce consistent yields from year to year.
Clusters of medium to large black currants ripen in midseason with a strong, tart flavour suited to juice, preserves, and wine. The plants are hardy and reliable in cool climates.
