Heritage red currant cultivar grown in North America since the late 1800s. Medium sized bush with good vigor and productivity. Produces long clusters of bright red berries in mid summer. Fruit has a tart flavor suited for jelly, preserves, and wine making. Reliable bearer that tolerates cold winters and is widely adapted.
