Pink Champagne is a Ribes rubrum currant with translucent pink berries and excellent flavour. The fruit ripens in mid to late summer and is milder and sweeter than Red Currant, without the intense earthy flavour of Black Currant.
The berries are sweet enough to eat fresh, with subtle tartness that adds complexity.
