Wild Sea Buckthorn Seeds
Pack contains: 75+ seeds
Wild Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) is a thorny nitrogen fixing shrub with silver blue foliage and bright orange edible berries. Fruit from these seedlings will generally be smaller and more acidic than fruit from named cultivars.
The plants are useful for wildlife habitat, shelterbelts, and erosion control. Sea Buckthorn has separate male and female plants, so both are needed for pollination and fruit production.

How to stratify seed
In the fridge. Put the seed in a bag with a damp medium such as peat moss, vermiculite, sand or coco coir. The medium is only there to hold moisture. Keep the bag in the fridge, above freezing, for the cold period shown, then sow.
Or outside. Sow the seed outdoors in the fall and let winter do the cold period.
