PLANTING INFORMATION
A few useful details.
Is every pollination partner included?
Yes. Aurora and Indigo Gem are compatible haskap partners, so keep both in the same patch. Red Lake, Titania and Black Velvet are self fertile and do not need an extra variety to set fruit.
How would I lay out five bushes?
Our suggested layout is a row with 5 to 6 feet between plant centres, keeping the two haskaps beside one another. Allow roughly 25 to 30 feet including space at the ends, plus access for picking. This is a starting layout; vigorous plants may need more room.
What sort of spot should I choose?
A sunny spot with soil that retains moisture without staying waterlogged. Water the young plants while their roots establish.
Five young plants supplied as large plugs. Fruiting develops as the plants establish.
