Shelterbelt Sea Buckthorn Seeds

Shelterbelt Sea Buckthorn seed was collected locally from Manitoba trees descended from the former Canadian PFRA prairie shelterbelt program. The parent population is cold hardy, productive, and adapted to poor soil.

Sea Buckthorn fixes nitrogen and provides wildlife habitat. Seedlings will vary and may include male plants useful for pollinating named female cultivars.
