Common Purple Lilac (Syringa vulgaris) is a large shrub with dense foliage and fragrant purple flowers in spring. It can be grown as a specimen shrub or maintained as a hedge.

This open pollinated seed was collected locally from plants fully hardy in Zone 3. Soak the seed in water for 24 hours before stratification.
