We have Paper Birch seedlings from locally collected seed, perfect for Canadian landscapes. Known for its distinctive white, peeling bark, the Paper Birch adds a beautiful, textured element to any yard. The bark starts out brownish-red on young trees, turning to its characteristic white with age, often with dark horizontal stripes. In autumn, its small, oval leaves turn a bright, cheerful yellow, providing excellent fall color. Paper Birch is a fast-growing tree, ideal for adding quick privacy or a focal point in a mixed woodland planting.

This tree is native to Canada and thrives in a range of soils, from sandy loams to clay, preferring full sun to partial shade. It’s also highly adaptable to cold climates and is known for its tolerance of harsh conditions. Planting Paper Birch can support local wildlife, as its seeds, buds, and bark provide food for birds and small mammals.
