Nannyberry

Nannyberry is a large shrub or small tree native to Manitoba. Creamy white spring flowers are followed by blue black autumn fruit that attracts birds and can be used in preserves. It grows about 15 to 20 feet tall and can sucker into a useful thicket.

Site: Sun to partial shade; moist sites, with some tolerance of drier soil.
