Brown Jalapeno is a jalapeno type pepper selected for a darker ripe colour. Use it like a standard jalapeno for salsa, pickling, roasting, stuffing, and hot sauce. The thick walled pods bring familiar jalapeno flavour and medium heat, with the added interest of a darker ripe stage.
