wild cucumber seeds at 60 days cold stratification, germination just starting in the fridge. these are from an old regenerating patch at our farm, they were growing behind the barn twenty years ago and I only recently learned what they were. El pepino silvestre es una enredadera anual de rápido crecimiento de hasta 25 pies de largo que cubrirá una cerca o una pared.
Las frutas tienen un aspecto loco y decorativo, por dentro son como una pequeña esponja de luffa.
Recolectamos estas semillas localmente en nuestro antiguo patio de granja, donde han estado creciendo silvestres detrás de nuestro granero mediante auto-siembra durante al menos los últimos veinte años.
Estratificación requerida: 2 meses
Instrucciones de plantación: plante en otoño en semilleros preparados o estratifique en frío en el refrigerador y plante en primavera. Siembre a 1/2 pulgada de profundidad y cubra con mantillo.
