Ancient tree species native to eastern China with fan shaped leaves that turn vivid yellow in fall. Ginkgo is very hardy and resistant to pests and disease. Trees tolerate a wide range of soils including clay, loam, sand, and even compacted or urban soils. Makes a striking specimen tree in parks, streets, or large gardens where it has room to grow.
Note the trees are cold hardy to zone 3-4, if you're in zone 3 grow in a sheltered location.
