These Common Quince (Cydonia oblonga) seedlings were grown from fruit collected in eastern Canada. The parent plant had a shrubby, multi-stem habit and fruit slightly smaller than typical common quince.
These are seedlings rather than a named clone, so growth, flowers, fruit size, and fruit quality can vary. Common quince is the fruiting quince used for preserves and is distinct from flowering quince (Chaenomeles).
