Bogataya Pear Tree

Bogataya pear is a cold hardy Russian variety, a winter pear variety bred in Chelyabinsk. The fruit is large with a round shape and a greenish yellow skin. The taste is described as very good and sweet, and with a good shelf life up to 3 months.

We've been growing this pear at our nursery to evaluate it and it survived its first winter.   Other Russian pears have proven to be fully zone 3 hardy and we suspect this one may be as well.
