Pin Cherry (Prunus pensylvanica) - Zone 3

Pin Cherry is a small, fast growing deciduous tree with small and bright red, tart cherries. The tree has smooth reddish brown bark.  Locally our Pin Cherries are ripe in mid to late July.  Native to North America, typically found in open woodlands, forest edges, and disturbed sites.
