hollyhock mallow (think I have the ID right but google says they top out at 4 ft) this one is a large herbaceous perennial, grows like a monster and covers the whole end of this raised bed 6 ft tall.. last year I tied it back with rope to keep the walkway clear. this one was started from a single cutting.

Hollyhock Mallow also known as Greater Musk-mallow or Vervain Mallow - Malva alcea, is a perennial flower we've been growing at the nursery for years. It's a tall and bushy, full of flowers all summer.
Can reach a height of about 4-5 feet (1.2-1.5 meters).
