Highbush Cranberry (Viburnum trilobum, American Cranberry) - Zone 3 - 40+ Seeds

Highbush cranberry, Viburnum trilobum, is a medium sized shrub native to Canada and the United States. Despite its common name, it is a viburnum related to elderberry rather than a true cranberry.

The shrub grows 6 to 12 ft tall and produces bright red berries with a tart, cranberry like flavour. The fruit is well suited to jelly.
