Boyne Raspberry was introduced in 1960 by the Morden Research Station in Manitoba. This reliable prairie cultivar produces heavy early summer crops of medium red berries with sweet aromatic flavour for fresh eating, freezing, and preserves.
The vigorous canes spread by suckers. Seedlings are not clones of Boyne and will vary, although some may retain similar fruit and cold hardiness.
