Temboli Pear

Temboli, also written Tem-bo-li, is a Chinese Asian style pear with rounded green to yellow green fruit rather than the usual elongated pear shape. The flesh is sweet, very juicy and apple like, with a lightly granular texture.

European records describe a productive, relatively compact autumn pear, ripening from mid September into early October and storing for about two months under suitable conditions. It is reported self fertile and disease resistant. Manitoba winter survival and completion of ripening remain under evaluation.

Our fall trees are grafted on Ussurian pear rootstock.
