Rovada Red Currant

Rovada bears long, showy clusters of translucent red currants. The berries combine sweetness with tartness and are useful fresh or in jelly and jam. Later flowering can reduce exposure to early spring frost.

It is self fertile and generally reaches about 3–5 feet tall. Plant in sun or light shade with well drained soil.
