Hedge Cotoneaster Seeds

Hedge Cotoneaster (Cotoneaster lucidus) is a cold hardy shrub with a dense, upright habit that responds well to trimming. Its glossy dark green leaves turn red and orange in fall. Small pinkish white flowers are followed by black berries that persist into winter and feed birds. It can be grown as a formal hedge, shelterbelt, or natural screen.

Cotoneaster can also serve as a long lived dwarfing rootstock for compatible pears, an uncommon combination popularized in Russia.
