We’re excited to announce our first potted plant sale this fall
We’re excited to announce our first potted plant sale this fall!
Fall shipping will start in September and run through early October, featuring a new selection of berry bushes and small fruit trees. While our larger trees are growing in the ground and are only available to ship bare root, we have a wide selection of potted berry bushes and trees that will be ready for fall shipping.
We’re timing this for September, when the weather cools off and our new stock is finishing up growth and starting to harden off. On the Canadian Prairies, fall planting can be tricky with bare root because winter comes quickly, and the leaves often drop just before the ground freezes. For container-grown woody perennials, September through early October is a good window for planting.
Shipping potted berry bushes and small trees in the fall, while they’re still in full leaf, is a great option for younger plants. They’ve finished growing for the season and have some time to establish before winter sets in. This year, we’ll have these potted trees and bushes available for fall planting, and in addition to these potted options, we’ll also have our larger bare root trees available in the winter for spring shipping.
While we ship seeds worldwide year-round, our trees are only available for shipping within Canada.
Discounts are automatically applied to large orders
