northern gooseberry, Ribes hirtellum flowering this week. These are stock plants that I collected a couple of years ago, and this is the second year they've flowered. I've been taking some close photos of the flower structure to make sure we have the ID right on this species, though the smooth grey stems with their occasional spines are also distinctive.
