Summercrisp Pear Tree

Summercrisp is a University of Minnesota pear released in 1985. Medium green fruit with red blush picked in mid August when firm; flesh is fine grained crisp and mild sweet when eaten firm, softens and sweetens quickly if fully ripe. Very cold hardy and shows above average fire blight tolerance. Upright habit; self fruitful but yields improve with another mid season pear nearby.
