Queen Anne's Lace (Daucus carota), also called Wild Carrot, is a biennial with fern like foliage and broad clusters of small white flowers. It forms a basal rosette in its first year and sends up flower stalks in its second year.
The flowers attract many pollinating insects. Queen Anne's Lace reseeds readily and can become invasive in some regions.

How to stratify seed
In the fridge. Put the seed in a bag with a damp medium such as peat moss, vermiculite, sand or coco coir. The medium is only there to hold moisture. Keep the bag in the fridge, above freezing, for the cold period shown, then sow.
Or outside. Sow the seed outdoors in the fall and let winter do the cold period.
