Prairifire is an ornamental crabapple with deep pink to red spring flowers, small purple red fruit, and foliage that changes from maroon in spring to dark green in summer and golden bronze in fall.
The cultivar has strong resistance to apple scab, fire blight, cedar apple rust, and powdery mildew.
