Pond Crabapple Tree

Pond Crab is a bright red apple that ripens in September about the same time as Trailman crab.   The taste can be described as crisp, spicy sour/sweet.  Good for cider. A little larger than Trailman, in the second photo the top photo is a Trailman for comparison.   An Alberta introduction by Konrad Ilg.

Plant Details
One year old trees grafted onto one or two year old rootstocks. Apple trees are typically 12 to 20" tall.
