NovaMac is a scab resistant McIntosh type apple from Nova Scotia. It bears medium round fruit flushed red over green, with crisp aromatic juicy flesh and classic McIntosh flavour.
The fruit ripens in early to mid September. NovaMac carries the Vf gene for scab resistance, making it a useful choice for McIntosh flavour with fewer spray requirements.
