Morden Russet is a rare and almost forgotten Manitoba apple preserved for its distinctive eating and cider qualities. The greenish yellow russeted fruit measures 6 to 7 cm across and has firm, drier amber yellow flesh with strong flavour.
The fruit ripens in late September and can keep for up to three months in cold storage.
