Morden Russet is a rare and almost forgotten Manitoba apple preserved for its distinctive eating and cider qualities. The fruit is greenish yellow and russeted, 6 to 7 cm across, with firm drier amber yellow flesh and strong flavour. It ripens in late September and can store for up to three months in cold storage.
