Lee 17 is a very hardy apple from Lloyd Lee of Barrhead, Alberta, and is believed to be a cross of Carroll and Wolf River. The large red apples can reach 3 to 4 inches across and have crisp juicy flesh with balanced sweet tart flavour.

The fruit ripens in early September and keeps for about two months. Its disease response has not been documented.
