Joe Pye Weed, or Trumpetweed (Eutrochium fistulosum), is a tall North American perennial with whorled leaves and broad clusters of pink to purple flowers from midsummer into early fall.
The flowers attract butterflies and bees. Plants naturally occur in meadows, marshes, and along streams and favour moist soil in sun or partial shade.
